This project planned and arranged by our three galleries (ecArtspace London, Seitz & Partner, and Tammen Berlin) is founded on the long experience of national and international co-operation but could only be realised in the space available at the new location of the Berlin galleries on Friedrichstrasse 210, near Checkpoint Charlie.
The exhibit consists of three parts:
On one side there is a selection of works curated by ecArtspace that gives an insight into the London art scene with its lively creativity and innovative perception. Since having finished their studies of art in 2004 the five artists Sarah Douglas, Laura Green, Sarah Jeffries, Katy Moran, Robert Stone have each received each a number of prizes and recognition and can look back on international exhibitions.
These young artists are amongst two solo presentations of more experienced and international working artists: the London-based painter Frances Aviva Blane, her latest work - representational and abstract and Tom Drake Bennett who lives in Berlin, his work is founded on the theme of the city and has developed from it.
